Hi, i'm new to the whole c/s and sat receiver scene so please understand my possible ignorance.

I am looking for a solution for my dad (so it has to be easy for the end user) and I will follow as soon as finances allow.

The original plan was to get a PVR to record from Free-view along side a suitable C/S setup using a dish.
Then I saw the BM7000 COMBO with terrestrial second tuner.
If I read this right, I could watch one channel (sat or FV) and record another from the other tuner? (Advice on best external HDD setup to make this possible also appreciated)


Is this the best solution? If so, where's the best place to get one from?
