AV output not working 100% - SV4

When I switch my TV on it seems that the AV output from the SV4 isn't always overriding the terrestrial aerial input, so I keep having to change the AV channel manually.

This resulted this evening in me seeing around 20 seconds of Eastenders by mistake. Horrible.

Please help me prevent this ever happening again. I've been switching scart leads but that doesn't sem to be the problem. It seems to be the box itself in some way.

Double checked the scart connections etc and it definitely seems to be the SV4 that's the problem.
