how do you Pause during recording? because when you click the pause button remote, it doesnt pause the recording, it just pauses the actual movie or whatever your watching, any ideas any1 please?

I take it you have a Hard Drive plugged onto it? if not it will freeze the pic, but sound will keep going

hi guys, i have a similar problem when it comes to Pausing while im recording something. I have a USB hard drive connected to box, it records fine, but when i want to pause during the recording, if there was a commercial, and if i click on the pause button on the remote, it will pause the film but not the recording. has any1 else has this problem? other than that, the actual recording and playback is just great quality.

so i take it nobody has tried to pause recording, DURING recording?
Dubfella, the box itself has the facility to format a usb hard drive that is in fat32, (whiping everything clean, on the usb hard drive)

still doesnt answer my question about pausing during recording lol :-)
Dubfella, can you try record something, and try to PAUSE the recording and then start recording again after 30 seconds or so (i dont mean stop the recording, Pause)

all it does is pause the screen, not the recording.. it recorded straight through.

Thanks for that m8, looks like a flaw on system then. Thats a bit crap really because, if you stop the recording and start to record again, then it creates a 2nd file.

hi guys,
i am in the kv situation and looking if there is anything out there thinking bout blade box, dreambox etc.. but do not reallly no anything bout these box's
which one? what channels you get? do i need sky dish? etc etc.. any help n advice will be good

Hi guys somebody asked this question earlier but i havent seen the answer.can you plug wireless dongle on this box because router is too far away or is this box wireless.

People just to let you all know before you purchase this box this box is closed sourced which means only the people that supply the box can make patches for it just like the Sv boxes and the Kryptview boxes and a few others so if they stop making patches for the box they will be for the bin
I suggest people look at the dreambox which is open sourced and patches are easily made for these thats why there is so many to choose from so choose carefully what box you purchase that is not to say that the sat can go off as well as cable

i am using dm 800hd which i find excellent easy enough to set up once i read piopats great tut on setting these up which can be found here on afterdawn the one i have is a clone which i got from china i ordered 5 in total and i think all in eg. customs+ dhl service about 150 euros each so maybe buying in bulk is cheaper and resell to youre friends..

nice price but you have to make sure with a clone the firmware dont kill the box which it has been known to do in the past. but i might get one to have a play to see how they compare to blade.
