Hi All,
Just wondering if any other members or visitors to Afterdawn ever received a refund from bubble supplies. We paid for goods in the region of 1000 Euro many months ago which we received a very very small portion of. After many phone calls and promises that a refund was on its way, nothing was refunded. Now it appears that there phone goes to answering machine constantly.I know another chap how is having a similar problem
regarding a refund. Are they gone underground or just avoiding there responsibilities.
Terrible way to do business. We have reported this trade to our credit card provider.

Hi Mickah,
Thanks for your reply.
Used visa. I did not move on a claim straight away as I was promised it was been sorted
on several occassions. Maybe they were just buying time. It makes me very wary of doing business with companies that trade only on the internet. Considering the amount of money I spent with these people over the past 2 years I thought they would show some sort of decency. I suspect they are having a good laugh.

Thanks e45,
Wheels are in motion with the credit card people. I realise there are some good traders on the net but I would feel happier dealing with a company that trades from a premises rather than a 'vertual' shop on line. There all great for supplying goods but when there is a cockup or warranty issue then you see there true colours. I am in business for 27 years and have the same customers now comming back to me since then. I will post the outcome on this site.
Talk later,

As you know when you buy these boxes once they have been modified it voids your warranty and lots of online sights do have premises as said before you just need to ask who the reputable dealers are

Thanks for your reply.
The goods I ordered were for a legitimate licenced network that I am involved in running, so modification or illegal use is not an issue my end. I just ordered and paid for a simple DVB-T Mpeg2 receivers and some spare aerials. Received the aerials only which accounts for about 20% of the total order.

Thanks for your reply,
You may have misunderstood me. We did not receive the goods at all. We are currently buying the same product from another supplier as we use DVB-T (FTA) on our own licensed network. We never used these boxes for receiving any network other than our own. They offered a discount on quantities at the time but in hindsight it may end up being a very costly transaction.

I had plenty of dealings with Bubble Supplies over the past few years and I had no "major" problems with them.
What I did notice was they would have certain things 'available' on their site and I'd order for next day delivery and when it didn't ship I'd ring them and they would give me some excuse that one of the staff let the last few go and they would be getting more in in a few day's. Something along them lines anyway.
But other than being late with a few deliveries I have nothing bad to say about them and I used them lots of times.
To me it looks as if 2 things has knocked them for six really, the boxes going down in Ireland was one and if I remember correctly it's now illegal to sell NDS cards in the UK too so I'd say that hit them too.
Just get on to your credit card provider and ask them to do a charge back.
Good luck in getting it sorted anyway ;)

Thanks for your reply sandisk.
I will post the outcome later as it is in the hands of the credit card people at the moment. What worries me is I know a chap that is having the same problem and is also in contact with his credit card provider. Also there phones are not being answered. I was fobbed off for months with excuses for non delivery, I think they were buying time.

prob because they did not have any more stock of the T boxes as they are old boxes now and any stock they had they would have got rid off due to the N3 onslaught

They were always useless on the phones to be honest. I think when you ring the main number they have it diverted to one of their mobile phones because sometimes when I'd call they would be in the street lol
I really don't know why you waited months though, I'd only give any service provider a couple to a few days and I'd be straight onto paypal or credit card company. Bottom line is you ordered the gear they said they had in stock right ? and are not coming across with the goods = terrible customer service and illegal.
Once it's in the hands of your credit card company then you've nothing to worry about as they will sort it pronto.
Good luck

I paid for a digi-box nearly 5 months ago, I never received the box nor did I ever get a refund from Bubble Supplies, they are a true con-job web site and do inform anyone about them in case they get stung aswell. If you look at their site they have also taken down their "CONTACT US" page, they are a scam site.

Thanks for the reply.
I noticed that their contact address vanished. Guess we should inform all on this site.

Jeez sorry to hear that mate. But no way in hell you should have let it go on for over 4 months, a few day's and I would have been furious and wanting my cash back.
Just have to take it on the chin and get on with it now.

Guess what,
My credit card provider stepped up to the mark and issued us with a refund.
They said they valued our business over the last 27 years, although a considerable time period had expired.
Lesson learned. Avoid Bubble Supplies like the plague.

Yep you should only buy from people that have a good rep by the members on here and always pay via paypal and never let the missing goods go for longer than 2 weeks and make sure when you email them you keep a copy of all letters sent as it makes your case stronger and also send stuff via paypal when you take the dispute up as well.
