But that aside, if it is an MMDS ariel feed what you do is put the coax from the ariel into a downconverter and then connect the downconverter as your primary connection into your multiplexor. Then at least you will get signal strength if not very many channels.

so have you tested by connecting receeiver to input that goes into the multiplexor. If you get signal at this point then you can be pretty certain that the gain on the multiplexor is not enough to support multiple inputs. Would then suggest you get new multiplexor with higher gain value and test again
