Can i use a normal Samsung V+ Cable Receiver now N3?

My area has gone N3 for over a month now and my old Digivox can just show BBC, ITV2 etc etc. Is it possible to buy a V+ box like the Samsung model and connect that to get more channels (free ones). I'm guessing the card that comes with it will need to be activated officially. I know i'm asking probably a stupid question but i guess i just need to confirm i am right :)

No if its a chipped box BIN it no longer will work you will have to buy a new box to work on n3

I understand the digivox wont work but i'm asking about the V+ box. Can you buy V+ box that works on N3 ?

When you say buy a new box to work on N3. Are you refering to the A780 etc. I've read up on it and it's probably a bit more than i need. I just want the box to receive basic channels and possibly HD channels.

well then get a sub from yourn provider and pay the basic, no chipped boxs work

you cant buy v media boxes if you do buy one it wont work unless you have a working paired card for it and a sub for that card from the provider

yes the A780 correct

i will be surprised if you get any channels with a non subbed box to be honest

yep dont people still buy dodgy boxes still that no longer work they see a low price so they jump on it only to have to fork out again so what might look is cheap but in the long run costs you double and time
