hi i have two starview the box supers a couple of weeks ago one of my boxes lost premiem channels ss1 s*y premier premier+ & espn i have removed splitters and rescanned both boxes and the same box still cant get ss1 s*y premier premier+ & espn but the other box can get all channels i have re flashed with gtrom 8.04e but no joy any ideas why one box is ok but the other has lost those premium channels but other channels like ss2 ss3 ss4 and all other movie channels are fine. cheers

looks like one of your boxes has gone i'd get a dreambox if i were you

on the box that has all the channels working press ok, and you will see the list of channels scroll down to the channels that are missing on box 2 (and highlight the channel name )now look below the last channel name and you will see a number (thats the channel frequency )enter that into box 2 in manual scan .your probably only missing the odd frequency (and a few new ones were added recently )so the firmware you put on box 2 will likely be a little older and not be programmed with those frequencies.

thanks for the replies.i tried to rescan using same frequency as box1 but the ss1 channel is still off says scambled or bad channel but when i press ok button the frequency is the same as box1 which works.movies prem and prem+ had different frequencies but when i tried to scan on that freqency i could'nt get any channels but movies prem and prem+ have gone on box1 as well now. any ideas what new freqency is i live on the wirral.just wondering what the lastest firmware is for the box super.thanks very much

click on the link in my signature area and choose starview ,you should see what firmware is there for the starview 3 ,i live in ireland so the frequencies i have will be no use in your area . you may get a thread with a list of frequencies by using the afterdawn search banner above center and then clicking on ok .it is a strange one mate .
