hi all, have a dm500s .updated cc cam 2.1.4 from 2.1.2 on the dm500s.one mistake i made was i also config cc cam. when i done this i lost all my programmes.i have ftp through the pc via the dm500s with c-line but no joy. any ideas how to get it back. jhaye2x
Did you try and put ccCam 2.1.2 back on? Why did you try and update to 2.1.4 did you have some sort of problem. Did you set ccCam 2.1.4 as your default.

yes i had a problem.glitching every 20 sec.as the 2.1.4. was the latest cam i put it on.i did set it to the default.i tried putting it back to 2.1.2 no joy..
the operation of cccam 2.1.2 and 2.1.4 as a client are identical so if you have the same config it should work. glitching, as i found out to endless pain, is primarily due to the lnb not been directed to the central part of your dish. you need to tweak the lnb to get the perfect picture

hi fintann,i am uploading the c-line through my enternet cable.or would i have to use a serial cable. when i get it going hopefully i will go on the roof and do ajob on the lnb.. jhaye2x
In dream control centre when you click FTP, and double click 'var' and then doouble click 'etc' then left click and right click on cccam.cfg can you get in to edit? if so re enter your cline, save and exit, then reboot/restart your box, you should be fine.

yes i can edit the config,but where will i upload the c-line into the keys etc. jhaye2x
Dont really understand what you want to do, if all you want to do is enter the cline do it on line 80, be sure to delete the # sign first. Here is a handy tool for you http://www.rapidshare.com/files/41054432...nfig-Editor.exe sure you will find it handy.
