Hi folks

I have someone that claims you can get a chipped sly, sly+ and hd box without a card or internet. Is this another con or has anyone else heard of it??

thanks

I taught the same till now I'm 100% its legit im not sure weather the box key on the card is edited or the firmware was dumped from the legit box and flashed to the clone box it could be possible by flashing the eeprom and resoldering it

I would listen to scandalu on this one, these boxes are more than likely available but the huge problem is keeping them alive. Like scandalu said, after about 4 weeks, maybe even 6 week in some cases, the box dies. This is because sly send update info via the sat signal every month or two to update the card in the box. This is a very successful anti-pirate method. As from my own experience, it even knocks off my own sly card in my dm500 every so often and i need to use my legite sly box to update that card again.

Now, if you were to have the hardware to clone the card again and again every time it got knocked off every 4 weeks and also access to the full legite card being cloned with all the movies and sports enabled etc then maybe it would be worth it. But this is klutching at straws for the moment.

Why hasn't this method taking off ? I should be easy to dump them white cards ? Or does the box firmware need to be modified ? Is like to work with some developer on this
