I have a splitter from where I recieve my internet connection and the connection for the starview.
Recently I have been recieving very slow internet connection.
Could this be due to having a splitter?

Possible but unlikely if you have been using the stup for any length of time.

Couple of standard questions Are you using P2P software?

are you going through a router? If so try direct to modem.

Which modem is it you have?

Do a speed test at speedtest.net and post result.

NB a mod may shift this as it is not really a DVB discusssion. You can always PM me for more info
