D-Digital Box Signal Issues

Hi all. I recently got a D-Digital Plus box, and for some reason, the box itself will not detect the signal from the dish. However, when I plug the dish cable into my Sky box, the signal is detected and the box picks up the channels. I'm not sure why one would work yet another doesn't.

I was informed that the box should work with either cable or dish lead inputs, so can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
