no worries mate, but as i said in the post, your going to have this issue with these boxs, 9 times out of 10 its the server gone tittys up, just a mtter of waiting till it comes back fully

mickah can you help me out before i start to strip it down and buy new cable,i've got the box all set up with firmware 2.12 on ustream and the ip is showing via the router but it keeps saying scrambled after i've enabled it via menu with 8989 also have done 9898 all fta channels working fine also i'm in belfast,would that be a problem?

is the blue light on the usb/ethernet adapter ment to flash as it is static on mine also the osd on the right says not connected but i have an ip address ok on network settings with usteam on.

i suggest you read back on this thread as a Shard had the same problem as you, turned to be a faulty usb adapter

thanks for the advice mickah have done that many times unlike shard i'm getting my ip readings and the router is showing a line in 3 and the light is on blue to the box and when i enable it its shows a blank on the osd on the right hand side with a grey background,any advice.

totes the one off the net dont work they come with a driver disk and you cannot install it on the box, i made that mistake and brought 4 off the net and 1 from maplins and all of them didnt work, so i sent a e.mail to the people i brought my box off and i sent it back they tested it and found it was faulty then i got a new one from them and it works great

will do that mate,thanks for the info also wondering is this able to pick up in belfast as i'm getting the ip address ok on the network.

Belfast is on the UK stream, so you select USTREAM for your server bit and scan the chans as normal

Guys, this is a thread for the DIGITAL issue's not server issues or to report on the server for this or the Starview 7, So dont clog up the thread with useless info about the server thats not releated to the actual box, So people have to start reaming through crap to find info thats actually relevent in 2 weeks time, unlike server up or down time which is ongoing

I told you this is going to be the issue with these boxs, so create a seprate thread to voice the server up or downtime, dont hijack a thread
