dream box

first off use winrar to open the file containing the image , i would say you should open a new folder and call it something like dreambox and store all your files or images in there to find them easy later. ok now connect the box and computer together using the null modem cable (do not plug in the box). now open dreamup on your computer ,first off look at the com ports (it should say com1 and com2)we will try com1 first .now click on connect ,in the dialog box you should see connection prepared , now plug your box in , in the same area where you see connection prepared you will see more writing saying things like talking to box etc. now click on where it says flash .now you are in the part of the program that you find the image(it may be on screen already,if not you can search from where you are) when you see the image (nabilosat image) click on it and click open or enter. now you are back on the first part of the program . now click flash , you will see on screen (perform a flash erase ,and options yes and no ,choose no , all being well your box is flashing now and more writing will appear in the dialog box , wait untill it says flashing complete and was successfull on screen in the dialog box (this can take up to 15 minutes). now only when flashing is complete click on disconnect and un connect the null modem cable.your box is flashed now , if it failed you will need to go back and change com1 to com2 and follow the instructions above. you will then need to connect the box to the tv via scart and of course connect the satellite cable to the box . now follow the onscreen prompts to get your box installed and to scan for channels on the satellite , when all this is done press menu ,number 5,and on reboot press ok button. your box will now restart and you should have all the free to air channels. get back to me and let me know how you got on. there is a bit more to do to get cccam setup ,just do the first stage first.
