is he on the same cable provider as you ,if he is then a rescan should work his box as it did yours . press menu ,press 6 ,press ok on service searching ,choose automatic scan .

a bit of history would be good. did it ever receive a full complement of channels or are you setting it up from scratch. what piopat is saying is press the menu button then select setup, then select service searching and then scan. however if it is not loaded with necessary CAM and KEYS it will not open channels. Hence the question. Did it at some stage open channels or not? If it did at least we know that its just a matter of doing a scan. otherwise the box needs to be configured from the beginning

its prob the same issue as those in Greenock have had the last day or so, freq change on chans, so prob needs a re-scan to bring them back perhaps

Box super works fine in mines with NTL but mates dreambox doesnt?
Selected
Menu
Setup
Satellites & transponders
automatic transponder scan
choices are SR6900 or SR6875 (providers?)
Selected both at different times and got the following:

Search in progress: SNR/AGC/BER

Eventually error message below comes up

All known transponders have been tried but no lock was possible
Verfiry antenna/cable setup or try another satellite/network

End result..no picture??????

if it cant lock on to a valid transponder then it wont scan ,i was talking to a guy on here who had the same trouble . he couldnt scan as the 2 provider ids were not his provider id . i think you have 2 choices here , first is to manually scan in each frequency one at a time .for that you need all the frequencies for your area and your provider id . or to flash the box with another image .

Im in Greenock using a dbox, got the exact same problem, doesnt find any transponders at all. Im using Sportster 1.7, is there a newer image I can use to get the channels back?

I tried dumping a backup of my services file back on the box, but got nothing.

Any help greatly appreciated
