go here and download dreamup(that will put the software on your dreambox)and then download an image(that is what we call the software to unlock the channels) http://www.4shared.com/dir/3042613/f6e3421c/sharing.html now there are different images available and so you need to ensure the image works ok with your cable supplier.you will need a computer with windows xp as vista is not suitable, you will need a 9 pin null modem cable and also a usb to seriel adaptor(my cable is a prolific seriel to usb,it came with a disc containing software to work the adaptor, but the software is available free online to download)you install the software on the disc and then join the null modem cable to the usb seriel adaptor and then connect the null modem end to the dreambox and usb to seriel end in any usb socket on your pc(if your pc is an older model it may have a 9 pin seriel socket on it and if so you then wont need the usb seriel adaptor, just join the null modem cable to both dreambox and pc)next step is you run dreamup, click on connect on screen you will see connecting to box, talking to box etc(note your box should be powered off at this stage)you should then be promted to plug in your box, then there should be an option on screen to set comport(most often com1 up to com 4,start on com1)now click flash(and find the image you downloaded)click on open ,on screen you should now see a promt(delete before flashing, say no)it should now start flashing(if a flash failed message appears, you will need to go back to com port and select com 2,and try again untill it starts flashing)flashing can take 15 minutes so be patient have a cup of tea.do not remove your cables untill flashing is 100% complete.when it is complete hook the box up to the tv then go to menu and press shutdown and reboot(it may only say shutdown, but press it anyway and restart the box)then when the box is starting up it should say somrthing on screen like cam starting on screen(the boxes i seen said evocamd starting)that is what unlocks the channels, then go to either skysports or sky one and wait a bit,and all being well it should unscramble, there will be a few free to air channels even if the box is scrambled so as i say go to sky sports.if you have the on screen guide and free to air channels and your cam started up but still channels are scrambled then it would seem that you need a newer image(go for the newest date)i hope you get it to work, its not as hard as it looks, just take your time with it.good luck.
