This is just a quick note to let everyone know that eamos library is now gone.
Someone lodged a complaint with the hosting service, so they deleted everything.

All files should be available from various sites. I'm not sure if there are any other centralised collections of files.
If someone knows of a link to a collection similar to Eamo's FTA Library, please post for others to use.

Thanks cacti, one statistic from the site, that shows it was well used;
Outcome traffic: 527.498 GB (553,122,045 KB) since 2007-06-22
As a certain Douglas Adams once wrote; "So long and thanks for all the fish"

eamo, i know things have moved on a bit from the cable/mmds scene and while the sv6 clears channels it is an unprogrammable box. any chance of setting up a new location where Linux files can be shared to other users. i ask out of lack of knowledge to set up a shared area to supply files to users

Thanks for all the thanks guys, but I do have to say that I really only started it off, a certain other gentleman who has helped countless people over the years was the one responsible for keeping it up to date.
So a huge thanks also to our "Liverpudlian" friend

Eamo, like anything, you need somebody with the vision to start something off. Thanks to your anonymous friend but take credit for what you have done. Your database has been accessed by all who have any knowledge in this area. Personally I would like to post a few stickies on Linux stuff but not sure if moderator is willing to allow. Its a bit of a frustration seeing the same questions when a sticky would do

There are a number of stages
1/ how to flash a dreambox
2/ how to load bouquets
3/ how to deal with EPG on a dreambox
4/ best type of dreambox and for what reasons
5/ difference between each emulator and why one meets your needs over another
6/ file structure: what does channels.uk do, what does cccam.channelinfo do etc...
ddp have done this for some time, its not about giving a simple solution to anybody. Its about supplying information to people who have the wish to learn. None of this information is of any use to anybody who just wants a quick solution
