Is anybody aware which channel will be showing football...ESPN, ESPN Classic... and will eurosport 2 be showing any premiership games?? cheers guys

if they are coming live the football will be shown on the ESPN channel. About eurosport we are talking about foreign leagues id say

Surely someone out there knows when these channels are gonna be up and running. I can't seem to find out anything. UPC website has no mention of anything new.

they will be up when they are up, obviously they are working to close the deal and have them in the line up, if they are there in the EPG listing or in the uncatogorized section of the chan line up, they are still working on them, may take a few days to sort,
On the krypt, Euro 2 and classic is there, They have moved Chelsea chan there also and the old celtic chan, so they are moving stuff about,
Have patience, last week we didnt know if we would get them at all, now they are there.

The good news is all these channels have the 2 streams on them
1801 (Nagra 2)
1802 (Nagra 3)
So they will be viewable when the provider launches the channels so thats some good news anyways

Hi ,
Im in KIldare and getting ESPN America (Broadcasting ok) and ESPN Classic (Not Broadcasting) dont get just ESPN ? Will the footie be on ESPN Classic ?

Well you have to look at it like this from the cable providers prospective with the change to N3.
1. Changing all the N2 cards to N3 is a bigger logistical operation then when they done the last card swap (N1 cards to N3 in the older pace boxes this was the first part to there change over to N3) you have to remember all those cards were issued prior to the current cable providers time and there would be a lot more PVR and Media boxes out there then the older Pace boxes issued by N*L
2. Also you will get some people who have ?Pirate cable boxes? who will be reluctant to swap there cards out for fear there ?Pirate cable box? will cease operation. This also holds the process up.
3. And remember all ligit subs have not been issued with new cards yet and the cable provider will not knock off the sports yet for fear they will get new subs from people that still have the older N2 cards.
Maybe all this is BS but just my two cents worth

Leaving it on standby didn't work for me (I'm still on analogue maybe thats why)
I just did an auto scan
Menu
Installation
OK
0000
OK on Auto Search
Then hit the "Green" button
... wait for it to work (10 mins or so)

you need to tune the box in firstly, if you dont have a digital feed (not analogue) you wont get any chans
