Eurovox EX5000 PVR ***PROBLEM***

Hi!
There is a problem with my Eurovox EX5000 PVR and I tried flashing it with the newest firmware but when you do a scan for channels afterwards, the channels come up nearly all scrambled. Before, after flashing, it would 'update code' but it doesn't do that now.
Plz could some body help?
This problem has occurred with some other users of Eurovox.
All help appreciated! *Feel free to ask questions*
