IM thinking of getting one i have a starview at the moment which imo as been a brilliant box ive also got a fortec star hd box "fta" which receives bbc hd and itv hd "when itv bother to broadcast that is"my question is can the ex7000 hd box receive the other hd channels?if so which ones?If of course you had the appropriate software flashed.

Or would i be better of getting a diablo cam for the fortec star hd box

hi steve1tme:well the only channels u can get on astra 2 sat in HD
are BBC-HD/ ITV1-HD London/ Lux-tv HD/ that all u get so far on astra 2. u won't get any Sky HD on astra 2 unless u crack their NDS
system. on astra 1 U Can get up to around 6 free Hd channels mostly in german most of the time some in english. as u see there are not to many HD channels that are free at this time. but not to say in a short while we may have more to see free .I am not a fan of euro vox boxes . i did not find their picture quality and sound to be that good at all. Now that was their sd boxes. i have not seen their HD Boxes working.i use a T-REX dragon cam super module in my sat reciver

Get the Starview Combo HD , also comes with Lan.

I Second that for the Starview HD Combo.Alway found the Starview a Better box over the Euro-Vox models It does not have a internal hard drive to record from,Just usb ports to support a PVR. as u said it has other things going for it. IT Look a good box in view/ But won't work on cable in Ireland Due to nagra3, So it will be on Sat or LAN

so i wouldn't get scifi hd disocery hd ect:pointless getting one then i think because i receive bbc hd itvv hd and lux hd on the fortec star box.

YEP the same as me on that .what u will need is a NDS-Cam first if u want to crack SKY at all.AS far as i know is the nds cam only come with any Sky box only . Having said that i have a Humax HDCI-2000 SAT
RECIVER. A few years old and aCI- DRAGON T-REX SUPER
CAM -Rev 4.6. ON this cam their is Things for smartcards/ setting for
nagra box keys n1 and n2 only for now.AES keys PLUS MANY MORE TO. And here the thing i also see is a setting for NDS.Box Serial. when i click on that it comes up with a 10 serial numbers. now myself don't know is if that mean anything for me to use a chip Sky card or not on this dragon super ci-cam or not.Maybe someone will let me know on that. I Dont know much on these CI-Cams myself. hope that will help u steve1tme.
