hi there i have a problem with my eurovox max v box basically i tried to sort out the channels alphabetically and it sorted them out but when it goes to save the changes the box sort out switches off/ freezes and when this happens the only way to get it to work again is to power it down then reboot... then all of the channels are gone. when i go into channel manager a list comes up and its all a scrambled list of letters and numbers. i now cannot even clear data as it switches off just as it goes to save. even when i do a power scan it can find all of the frequencies and channels but it cannot save them... does anyone know what is happening to my box...

You need to make sure 9-pin is assigned to com-port 1,2,3,or 4 on your P.C.
Then come back here with exact model of eurovox & someone will advise what fix to use.
Would also help to post your general location.
