Hi just bought myself and new samsung LCD tv. Connected it up via my scart lead to my eurovox blue box .. Picture quality aint that great.. the tv has component connections on the back of it as does the eurovox.. Can anyone suggest what cable i need to buy or do u know of another means by which i can improve the picture quality as i know the eurovox i have isnt HD quality.

Many thanks for any help offered.

you can try com leads (RED, WHITE, YELLOW) make sure the euro is on PAL and so is the TV, but there is not a whole lot other than that.

If using the scart, make sure the settings is on RGB in the Eurovox menu.

I use a SV4 on a LG 42 inch 100 htz TV and the pic is great, I had a Krypt on this before (A700 and then a750) and the pic was a lot better than the SV. The thing is you have an older box and the newer boxs are better in regards to pic quality.

Even if you run it through your system and use HDMI, this may not help as the pic coming to it wouldnt be as sharp in the first place, your system isnt upscaling it

Krypt are coming out with a HD version of their box

try Sky W and have a look at the prices, but do compare others. For me, one of the later Kypts have great pic quality and better build quality, the Euro do a HD box, but like anything mate, depends on the wallet
