i am brand new to all this. so in need of help ive just bought eurovox and was told it would work straight from box. but says channel scrambled. the software is aug 2008. my friend has feb 09 so im guessing i have to update my box. and i have no idea how to... my box is it is ex1000 sl.

so in meantime i poss have clone can this be updated to the feb 2009 software... coz checked guide you listed and said not to put firmare on clones

if you look in the top of the box, you will see silver heatsink

return it ASAP and advise your supplier, in fact I would get yer money back and buy a cheap second hand box that will do ya in the interim, dont waste money on a new box that will go off in the coming weeks,
