Hi, Installed my new EX6000 box, must admit very impressed by it, quality of channels, pictures and layout much improved. I purchased a external 400gb hard disk drive with the box, but i having a few problems with. I would like to start recording programmes onto it but sure if i'm doing summit wrong.
For one i go to the File list or PVR management and it states that it would be unable to record some programmes. Also it doesn't look like it recognises the HDD.
It came in FAT32 format, do i need to re-format it?
Also do i need to partiton the disk drive?

Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

PS i have vista on my laptop which only gives me options of NTFS or exFAT to format dirve.
