Factory Default for kryptview

Hi

Does the history of the firmware you installed on a box remain even though you have done a factory default on it? Or does it revert back to the original firmware that came pre-installed?

unless you flash the box with new software the same software before you did a factory default will remain on it you will have to to a rescan for the stations, if you sorted your stations into favourites you will have to do that again

Thanks for the reply, but I'm actually trying to find out if there is any trace of a previous install once you do a factory restore.

Your question appears to have been answered, "the firmware that is currently installed on your box is not affected by a Factory Default and will remain on your box" - it will not revert back to the FTA firmware that came pre-installed.
