Hi, Sorry if im asking to go over old ground but, I have a clone 18x7 vent box. Flashed it ages ago but code roll did not work correctly. So i have been imputting them manually, however as i cannot find them now i thought id flash and try again.
I cabled up last night , got the gt rom loader and the 2.57 firmware.
Flash completed , then AUTO re scanned on NT*. Checked EMU (ON) but im only getting BBC ETC. The scan found the channels but dat message just comes up? Can anyone help fat and grey old boy ? Please.....
I am sure im just being daft and forgot to plug in ?? Please help.
Have you used the Core.257Bin contained in this file in Eamo's FTA Library CryptStar-v1.5.zip - if so then it depends on where you are, if in Ireland then they have probably migrated to N3 Sports/Movies etc., if UK you should be fine.
yes, connect the box directly to the cable feed coming in, also pay attention to Malcis post above, you may have to flash the box with the last firmware if its not on your box already.

All sorted, now, this box is switched off a lot so if i switch it back on and the codes have changed will it just update if i leave it on ssp1 or?

Last thing, i have HD sk£ in the front room but was thing of bining it, and replacing with?
The sk£ dish is installed, can i change the receiver ? if so what do i need?
