Hi I live in the Tallaght area in Dublin and am seeking info. on freeview here. I have heard many conflicting stories on exactly what is required. There is a sky dish at the front of my house and i was told by 1 individual if I just buy the box i will b able 2 connect dis 2 the sky dish, is dis correct? I was also told dat u can connect an old UPC or Sky box and set this up as a freeview reciever through the menu's, is dis true? Any info. dat anybody can give me will be very much appreciated,
Thanks,
Al.

If you have a sky dish installed then all you need is an old sky box to get all the FTA channels but there are better options, check out adverts.ie and you should be able to get yourself a cheap box there, also google card sharing with a bit of reading you can get yourself the likes of sly sports/movies etc for a very small monthly fee.
