Hi, i live in glasgow, n3 has came and gone. However i was under the impression i would still be able to use my starview box as a freeview box, at the moment i only get channels 1-5 bbc3 the bbc kids channels, itv2+1 n itv3+1 - is this right?, no way of getting normal freeview channels?

As far as I'm aware all channels should be running mutli-stream as they did in Ireland when the new encryption was introduced, so the krypt should be clearing all channels once the N3 and N1/N2 stream is present.

Not on the A780 it wont box is designed for N3 only so no N1 or N2 on this box and uk never went N2 they went from N1 straight to N3

Thats why I put N1/N2 stream cheers e45 and not N2 as I had mentioned Ireland.

And you don't understand my post by the way. Once the N3 stream is introduced it carries all the channels simultaniously on N3 and N1. Then they just switch off each channels stream or packages stream on N1.

Please, please, please use the search box at top right of site before asking a question that has already been answered.
