what is an encryption change?
also what will it do to the digital reciever boxes ?

Sorry buddy, just couldn't resist myself!
Depends where you are located, but in Ireland at the moment, a new encryption has been released by UPC and all movies ans sports are now not viewable on magic boxes! N3 - easiest way to explain is that its their third revision and wont be broken for a long time!
Also will bet that changes will hit the UK as well over the next year!
