hi ive got both a starview 6 and also a 7 but was wondering how i can download movies from internet and watch them on my tv any help would be great cheers in advance

dont confuse the two, what you are talking about is streaming to your SV from a PC in the house, you set up a PC as a media centre/server and can stream content to your Starview, you need download the homestream software and set the IP of your PC into the starview via the set up in the menu

I would suggest you get a media player such as the Sumvision Cyclone Mini, budget player for about 20 quid or can go better again, the WDTV player, uses removeable hard drive plays films and music and photos

This question may be a wee bit early, but here goes, ive been told that the home streaming s\w still works with the SV7, even after "theshowmustgoon" update. Trouble is it never worked for me with carling, and now there is no home streaming menu in the update.

I am right in concluding that its a bit early to be harping on about this issue, Considering the SV7 isnt fully funtional yet, if you know wot I mean?

To be honest, I have never heard of it working for anyone, would be interesting to hear from someone who has it working

Hi Guys...I hope you don't mind Me jumping in here....But,while on the subject of streaming..

I've been trying to access everythingon.tv for a few days now,,but it doesn't seem to be working at all. Not sure if it's after been hacked,or shut down..

Does anyone know anything about it?

Is it gone,or is there a new link for it?

This domain is for sale for ?3,000 its home page says so id say its well gone and for sale
