Yes glad I took peoples advice on here and went for the krypt. TBH I had a sv2 and had no probs for nearly 2 1/2 years with it, So thx guys for swaying me away from going sv again.

sv has indeed been raided twice, but had 4 times the number of clients..its just a matter of time krypt follows suit...my choice would be to move towards the sat scene...its the more established of the two and has been going strong over the past 8 years or so..

So how is it a matter of time? SV were lazy and also very stupid in how they ran their CS on both counts, KV on the other hand aint, regardless of the amount of clients, they have this done differently than SV have, so I would love to hear your analysis on your statement and how you come to be able to tell the OP this valuable info

You'll find they use almost identical IKS systems so KV have not really done things "technically" differently.
I wouldn't say SV were stupid in how things were ran, maybe just a little complacent.

i'm not going to comment strongly in this area. kv has supplied a better service. however i do wonder how long you can hide a static ip address for a huge amount of boxes without somebody identifying the source. on another count it does seem that individual users, to date, have not been prosecuted. so yes, as a kv or sv user, the kv is the box to use. sv stupidity is one thing but kv will likely be called to count i would suspect.

The Eire server raid is still hearsay, yes it's gone that's for sure !
Did the lads with the server get cold feet "maybe"
After being promised the earth and getting nothing it's likely they pulled the plug themselves.
Can anyone post an article/link to the story in any newspaper or press release.
Regards the Uk one, yes complacent, lazy what ever you will call it.
They done nothing really different from KV, same hardware, no of cards, software etc etc
So to say the KV is done differently is not quite true, yes support may be better but that's about it.
With any box you pay your money and take your chance.

ack, i read that mickah and i didn't understand it myself. the issue is simple. as with sv, also kv will have a static ip address for all boxes. while they are a better service provider i do wonder if they have to ability to hide themselves
