Supposed to have a LAN port built in so no need for the iconnect. As far as I'm aware.

Yes correct built in lan port out now it is all information is available thru there facebook page on my signiture

hi
i am about to buy the a780 and want to know if this works straight from box or do i need to download software also do i just connect to internet aswell,sorry for questions as i am only used to starview

no it does not work straight from the box,
you have to put software on the box, then scan in the channels and connect your lan cable.

ok from e45 post no#8 above
download then download again wait the 20 seconds download again and save to desktop
and yes it will take you to another page during all this,
all the rest of the info is on that page including the loader

two questions if i may
firstly on connecting the 780 to my broad band connection are v@#/in able to trace the box and see that i am connecting to a server
secondly could you put a wireless usb adaptor into the back of the box to save moveing modem as my modem and wireless router are both up stairs cheers guys

that is main supplier so you wont get it cheaper as its from kryptview themselves and boxes do not come ready to go as its agains the law to load any sort of software to the box

can i download firmware and then copy it to disc and then download it via rs lead as my home laptop dosent have rs connection but work laptop does but i am not allowed to down load fromwork laptop i know its long winded but that is the only way i could do it

just copy it to usb stick and bring that to work
