hi it says scrambled also on bbc1 and after deleting all the adult channels due to kids when i switched it back on this morning they were back will try deleting them again in a minute

thats becuase the Kryptview has autoscan built in when left in standby, you need to run this off via the menu, so it wont autoscan the chans back or you will be deleting the chans every day or just put a password lock on the chans.

so if i go into menu there is a way of switching off auto scan only it did it again this morning also film4 is working but other channels say scrambled any idea why

did you have your cable split going to your box or are you using cable splitters for other rooms in the house cos sometimes a week signal can do that
then again it could be a server problem like what we are having at the moment with the sv

yes i do have splitter but no longer use the other ones as cant afford to buy 3 new boxes now my sv,s dont work,soi will dissconnct splitter andtry that

mine came today. i need help. firmware is on channels are there can only view FTA ones but the rest are there. i need to know how to plug broadband in i thought it would have an ethernet port soewhere so i could run it through my router. i know i need some virgin wire which im on the hunt for now and i have a splitter. i just need step by step instructions on the wire set up. please ;)

ethernet port is at back behind tape thats what was covering mine

all you need is lan connection cable for broadband to box and your normal provider cable
but what do you meen it does not have ethernet port?
the box if its a780 should have a lan connection on the back also your router should have 1 too!

the back of my box is exectally the sameone on the previous page all i have is 2 scart leads, the red and yellow. and the null oh and the 2 wite ones wich your cables screw in to. its says 780 on the fromt but the manual is for the 750. help:(

you can yes, but you also need a broadband connection for the a780 aswell

what happens when you switch that off? mine has lost all channels a few times. would that be becoz its auto updating itself?
