Kryptview A750 not working

Help needed. A friend of mine helped set up my Kryptview box. He checked it on his TV and everything worked fine. When I brought it home and plugged it in I got nothing. The message appearing on the screen is "No or Bad Signal". As I live in Balbriggan I'm wondering if it will ever work in this area or is there something else I can do.

firstly, are you on Chorus or nthell? Are you on MMDS? if your on Chorus MMDS (aerial on the house like a little wire dish or similar) it wont work

I'm with NTHELL. Not sure if I'm MMDS - have an aerial but its in the attic.

firstly, is the cable in the correct input at the back?
Who is your friends provider? nthell or chorus? if he is on Chorus and your on NTHELL you will need to factory reset and re-scan on NTHELL
if he is on NTHELL, same as you,if the cable is in correct, then put the box in standby and let it powerscan,

ok then you need to factory reset the box and rescan on NTHELL from your place,
choose to -
Factory reset the box,
enter in 0000 and reset, once done,
choose installation,
auto scan,
then next window you will see your provider NTHELL, just pick your provider, and touch no other settings and press the green button. you will be given an option, you must choose Dub Legacy and then press ok, it will start to load TPs, let it run until its complete, when it finishes, you can then exit out to a chan and let it update, thats it yer donw

U*C have rolled out N3 ciaranmc, you can expect everything else to disappear soon. No fix anywhere for N3 that I'm aware of, none in the pipeline either as its a totally different beast. :-(

Just back in Ireland this morning and have noticed that Sports and Movies are gone. Message on screen is "Waiting on Code Update". Any news yet on when this will happen?

are these boxes now gone in dublin? or is there anyway to update them? all my movie and sports channels are gone and just saying 'Waiting for code update'?

Is it just S*Y sports & movies that have gone? Are people in the ROI still getting other subscription channels or you only receiving basic freeview channels?

the same thing is happening now as what happened on the n1 to n2 changeover. first adult then sports then movies and disney channels are going to n3. we will only be left with basic free to air chan's

Yep there is, either subscribe to Sky or Chorus Upc full package, that way you will get them all back, at the moment there is no information on fixes.
When there is it will be all over the forums for all to find and see.

Hey Hooter007, very understandable how you're feeling. Footie season just back and have no where to watch except to go to the pub.. Ah Well. I'm sure the experts won't be long about getting something sorted out but like all of us you'll just have to be patient.
