How many channels are blank & could you name them. You could do a Fac.reset & scan 0n 6952,
then re-scan on 6887 if channels don't clear

you are probably referring to channels such as man u,liverpool etc channels or some of the adult channels...if you have around 299+ channels after a scan,then your box is working fine..

Think you're getting STVU 7 mixed up with STVU HD COMBO which uses Cccam, so you should have
a look at threads for HD COMBO

Are there any issues in connecting a Kview or Sview via a USB Wireless receiver to the router or does it have to be hardwired with an ethernet cable from box to router? If I have missed the answer elsewhere on the Forum could someone point me in the right direction
Cheers

Thanks e45. Hardwire a bit too messy involving a run outside then in again; but homeplugs obviously no problem.

@e45
Yep - looks the way to go. Still catching up after the demise of N3 & Evox and trying to research on Kview or Sview. Appreciate the pointer for when I dive in

I presume you have box connected to router with LAN-cable. Turn off router & box, turn on
router then turn on box

@e45
Y - that's the conclusion I had made (I, also, always knew the Countdown connundrum just after they announced the answer)
I see the stuff on the server uptime and general support, and the users feedback clearly favours it
Thanks again for taking the time out for your nfo
Much appreciated
Now to sort out connectivity

Just finished having a read of the reviews
I guess I would need to set up a Krypt in the room close to my router and then RF it out of the Kview to other rooms
I couldn't find an image of the REAR of the box so.....
Can anyone advise whether or not the signal can be RF'd OUT of the box as well as scarted
If not, I am happy to spend 20 squids on a demodulater to *convert* the scart signal to RF.
I have to do that now with my v1g1n to get it in all rooms of the house:
Scart out to Demod to RF to 8 way splitter/booster (as I did with the Evox)
In summary - what are the OUTBOUND connections on the Krypt?
If I have missed this info elsewhere - could someone point me to the answer
Cheers
