Check to see if your ethernet connector on the back of your box is lit up when connected to your router (it needs to be).
If it is not lit you may just have a bad flash and need to reflash. Either way try disconnecting ethernet, factory defaulting, and reflashing.

No there is no EMU, just make sure you flash as numerous guides you will find on this site, your ethernet cable is the correct one (straight through and not crossover),they are connected snug, and that your ethernet RG45 connector is lit up when connected to the box.

Hi rickygrub,
Good to see you got it working. I use Solwise 85mbps homeplugs from Amazon which are just plug and play, no set up whatsoever, just plug in and connect up. Some homeplugs need to be configured, if you are using orange devolo homeplugs, i believe they need configuring. I have no experience with them but if you look under e45's signature above your previous post you will find a guide.

hi I have orange homeplugs they are usually plug n play.
Make sure your electric sockets are on the same ring main, sometimes houses use different ring mains on plug points.

Excellent point Libbo, I tested some belkins and found that if the plugs are not on the same ring or cicuit, they wont work, majority of houses are on different rings so you may find that the upstairs sockets may be on seperate ones which I found,
