Hi

After running the scan on my Dreambox 500s, many channels appear in the list under All Services. I used DreamBoxedit to delete the ones I will never watch and uploaded the xml file back.

Now I had a clean list. But after few hours one by one they started too appear again under All Services.

How could I stop this happening?

Also what is the best practise on bouquets?

Thanks

this is what should happen. and this is the purpose of bouquets. use this link to get a really useful set of bouquets and then edit them to only have the channels you wish to watch http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/dream...6th-2010-a.html

Thanks Dizzy for the offer.

I have downloaded the sky bouquets and I have opened them in Dreamboxedit, however when I send the files to the DB or FTP upload them I do not see the bouquets.

When you download the bouquet file you want to use, open it in Dreambox edit, then change the type to type2, save, then transfer the file to the box.

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Nah, piece of piss really!! My Nokia Dbox experience stood me in good stead for much of it, but am still getting glitching on the sharing end, so am not sure if it is me or the other end (have tried a few different other ends though!!), so it must be me.

I need to get rid of the wife for a few weeks so I can keep messing with the telly though!!!

should be able to identify the glitching by using cccaminfo and checking the ecm count. if the number of ecm requested by client system is equal to the number of ecms delivered by your system then that means you are in the clear. however if some of your ecm responses fail then this most likely a problem with internet lag on your end
