Hmmmm,
Maybe if you post twice you'll get twice as many responses FFS. It's people like you who have this forum in bits!
If you have a signal issue, call UPC and remove your dodgy box (presuming you have one) and tell them your signal is crap. They'll send an engineer out to reposition it if it is the case. Otherwise you could be just in a crap spot.

I see that you have a perfect signal at night. This still suggests a signal problem. Air pressure changes from day to night and in any kind of wireless transmission, the signal will usually be strongest at night. I doubt very much that this is a software or hardware issue. Start at the start, your cabling. Where the MMDS cable comes into your house, do you have any splitters between the feed and the box? How far is the feed from the box? If you ran your own cable, what cable did you use? You should use ct100 coax as a minimum. UPC use RG6 Commscope cable.
If your feed is ok and you have no splitters etc, you need to get UPC out. They can stick a meter on the cable and mesure the db loss. That's all I can think of. I also have MMDS and it's shite.

I have ntl boxes that work perfect. I tried taking it from the main feed without the splitters. If I tried a different model box do you think it would make any difference as the previous box(thebox 3) didn't have the signal issues . Thanks for your help
