MMDS Encryption End of BoxT?

Hi
I have been using Box T with Ch***s MMDS for over 6 months now in Cork city. However strange things starting to happen all the Irish channels have no sound (vision perfect) while all other channels are fine.
Have they started the Nagra/Encryption roll out for MMDS or is it a firmware problem with the boxes, same thing happening on 3 different Boxes in two locations.

frequency change maybe,try a factory reset 0000 to delete,power on antenna auto scan and then switch emu on,menu1570,key emu to on and exit out.

4pod have a look at mmds no sound its just 2 posts below yours all youre questions will be answered have a read mate

delete everything and rescan, sound will come back on stations

factory reset turn off the box at back then back on do a new scan and dont forget to turn your emu back on again they have moved the irish channel freq slightly resulting in loss of sound

Hi, I did the above steps - now all I am getting is 'data is being updated..'
Any advice on next steps?

when you turned on your emu did you touch the default key on your box ??
you need to be on a main cable coming into the house not on a splitter then you will get it to update it might take a few channels to get it to work

Hi,
I don't believe I hit the default key when setting EMU on.
Yes, I am on the main cable and not a splitter.

ok well then you are going to have to keep trying to get it to update on a channel leave it on a channel for a few mins is it counting up and then restarting or is it just not moving off the 0% ??
what firmware have you got on the box menu >> system info >> API version i need

OK, I will change chanels and see if it will update.
Yes, is counting up then the banner at the bottom of the screen comes on identifying which program is on etc and then it resets to 0% and starts over.
One other piece of info; of the 93 channels detected during the scan just 4 seem to be working correctly.

yes 4 will work as they are free to air ones so unless your box updates that is what you will be left with people should stick to what people say to do only..

i have a mac so not sure if i can put software on from this or do i need a pc ?

its not the codes thar changed, if you turn emu on , tv will come back.. i had this with eurovox tx and digivox t,, eurovox tx dont have emu, so that one was just delete everything and rescan..
