I AM NEW TO THIS WEB SITE ,BUT TO WHAT I CAN SEE ON THE UPC SITE.
IS THAT THEY ARE GONE TO A NEW TYPE NAGRA/3 & ALSO TO A NEW VERSION OF NAGRA/4 ALSO ON SOME OF THE CHANNELS TO.IF THIS IS TRUE THEN WE WILL HAVE A VERY LONG WAIT TO FIX THE PROBLEM WE HAVE.
ON SOME WEB SITE? WELL KNOWING ?SAYS THEY WILL HAVE A FIX IN THE NEW YEAR > MAYBE.

Be a good idea to drop the caps for a start, as this is construde as shouting.

And dont hold your breath for a fix, there has not been a fix in 3yrs, so anything you read at the present time is fiction only, and totally untrue.

Thank very much for that e45.Well i am not to bad as i have a Satellite dish for over 7years now in which i use a dragon cam in it.
It a Hi-Def box . The Dish move all over the place to lock onto different satellite in orbit. I think N*L are going to switch off the
analog channels some time next year.So people will have to get their box anyway >No matter what Or go for Sky.

yep thats true but they will still have to supply the FTA channels for the Irish channels regardless.

But yes the sat route is the way forward for the moment and a motorised dish is perfect for that.
