if you mean starview 6 it has a wireless lan connection but so has other boxes before it like dreambox, but there still is no nagra 3 fix for cable or satellite,so no free channels other than the free to air channels. unless you pay for sky or cable or go the cs route.sorry but thats the way it is mate.

to be honest, you are better of speaking to your supplier, I dont want to get into the ins and outs of the box, I dont think its wise to post anymore here on it either, read into it as ya will. The less "they" know the better

all things will come to light so as mickah has said its not for open forum discussion keep thinks in the dark if ya want more info contact your supplier for details less said on here the better as you can see what happend to N2 the hole was plugged and this is just from reading all the information on forums so MUM is the word !!

Wow Mickah, e45 you really have my interest. I thought these were just some card sharing boxes but could they be more? I don't think not saying anything will work. NTHell spies are everywhere. Trust nobody.

i think it could be the kryptview hd dw800 because your saying about the special enternet port and the sellers are saying its in breech of cable suppliers(u.p.c)terms and coditions if connected to a live network ie internet conection

Guys. lets be honest. Who is fooling who on this forum. All very fine that people wink and nod but the reality is if they have nothing to share then let them join another forum. The whole point of this forum is to discuss new avenues. If you want to play silly beggars thats fine. Realise that no matter what new opportunity arises, there will be counter-measures put in place. If it is not discussed here then it will be discussed in another forum and that forum will then become far more interesting than this forum. To date I have the height of respect for this forum but the codology portrayed above is in no way representitive of the typical user. I will in all case try and help Dreambox users (as I have a lot of experience in this area) but I cannot tolerate people who will not say what they know. So wink all you want as this forum dies under your suggestions but no practicalities.

wow thank god your here to show the way and help us all, better stop winking,

What soapbox did you just fall off? point in fact is this place is crawling with "members" from various providers and yes, I aint nieve, the same can be said with other forums, but other forums are regulated in a way that various topics are not openly discussed, thats fact and the rules of those forums, in the above I directed folk to the suppliers to get the real deal about the boxs, the less said on "Open" forums such as this the better, you your self in your other posts have directed folk to sites for more info on CS, is that not what was done above and suggested by myself and E45? http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/t...he_game-832481/ But you call it codology? Do ya not think some things are best left unsaid in the current climate and folk are better off contacting a supplier, rathur than shouting it from the rooftops and really helping the other "members", the reason a lot of Avenues are closed is this reason entirely.

Please note that you most likely will have to pay money to CS websites to get said channels on said boxes on said internet.
Also said topic is illegal.

Also, I was able to find out everything I know on open forums so Id say said N**L f*eck*rs are well aware.
I think I've said enough.

Thanks,

Mickah, I take your point but as I say all avenues are discussed, if not on this site, then on another site. Now I don't understand the reason why cs is in any way illegal. The discussion over cs is 'theoretically' to supply multi-room viewing. I do not see this as an illegal activity. Should others wish to use cs to share outside of this scenario then they do so at their own peril. However I have always considered this forum to hold value only if people are supplied with knowledge to play with different scenarios.

As I say our friends at Sky, UPC and similar are only too well aware of what is coming on-stream. Its really not that hard for them to find out. So the way I see this working is that forum users are kept updated with new ideas, the tv providers cut them off, and alternatives are then supplied. It is a game of cat and mouse and the fun is staying in the lead

Had a look at the SV6. Yep its got a network connection to allow multi-room sharing. However its very expensive 160 sterling. It doesn't have a hard disk and only has USB rather than eSata external storage. It doesn't support HD. Overall if you want a very basic box for a lot of money then go for it. You'll get a DM500 for 60 sterling that is an open source upgradeable Linux box that does the same job and also has a huge base of developers designing new plugins each day.

mick is just saying look around the various sites, get the info thats available put 2 and 2 together your self, use your own thinking. its them and us but no need to make it easy for them,if they have counter measures coming they wont broadcast it on here will they.
