seems that as long as uk is ok we are gonna suffer
there should been a fix by now or even a comment from the main box companies

There is no Nagra 3 hack anywhere in the world.
You dont need a comment from the box manufactures, sure they just make FTA boxes lol.
Get a sub or research cardshare,

It's right that even if a fix exists out there it won't be released until either UK cable changes to N3, or decides to use another encryption method altogether.
Its release certainly wouldn't be prompted by changes in a market as small as Eire's.
Until dodgy boxes become useless in the UK you can forget it; like Crytpohx says, it's time to make other plans.

do you guys read the rest of the forum? the uk is not going nagra 3, the fix is NOT dependent on the uk, n3 is was all over europe and america and has not been cracked yet, simple as that

I think the words 'even if' were the clues to understanding my post.
Maybe the use of capital letters and full stops confused you.

and you said "Until dodgy boxes become useless in the UK you can forget it; like Crytpohx says, it's time to make other plans." , ireland or any other country getting a fix is not dependent on the uk whatsoever, also your use of capitals and comma's does'nt make your post anymore relevant!

Until a Sat fix for the Nagra3 is released, there will be no fix for the cable boxes, as we are dependent on a fix for there problem first.
Then and only then, will the cable boxes be sorted, so there is no point in going over the same ground all the time.

The old boxs still work in the uk, the cable providers still run on nag2 over thare, mabe thay make enough cash, and couldnt be botherd, or maby thay plan to roll it out when nag3 is fully out over here???

they run on N1, not on N2 or 3. As E45 explained, its not a case of not doing a fix, its a case of can it be done, regardless if the UK was in the same boat, Sat have been trying this for ages.
At the end of the day, the CC is protecting their product, an over priced and bloated one, but theirs none the less. At this stage I would be going to either a subbed account with them or SLY or as cryptphox suggests above
