Just wondering the best way to get onto a reliable cardshare. There is a local person/company offering a VU+ for £450 for 12months, 2 servers, so pretty much guarantee no downtime, £150 per year after. Reviews/after support seems good. Is it best to go for something like this, or are there better value alternatives?

it depends on which vu+ receiver is offered and what service and support is provided.
you could get a basic but very capable rig for less than £300 and a very decent cardsharer for £100 per yr or even less.

for a cardshare sub you would have to ask around.

yes £150 is expensive . also at £300 for the box it should be a vu+ duo (thats a twin tuner box )do you need a vu+duo twin tuner box ? ,i mean you could buy a blade bm700o box for half that at about £150 ,the blade is hd and 3d compatable and its quite easy to set up ,but there is another cheaper option which is the openbox s9 hd at about £70 and its also easy to setup .thats another thing will the box be all set up for you ? ,i mean if it is then your not really going to learn how to do what needs to be done .you could probably buy a blade bm7000 and a line and do it your self for a little over £200 .
