Original Starview Lost Channels

Hi,

I have an original starview box, not a clone, which has lost most of its channels, this includes BBC1 and 2. Also for some reason the remote control is not working as normal even with new batteries in (not sure if this is connected?).

Has anyone else experienced this? How do i get these channels back? The details below are the current software i have installed on the box

API ver: 4.00e_E
Boot ver: 7.0

Any help would be greatly appreciatted.
