Problem with Starview 4 - The Box Super USB

Hi,
I have looked over various forums for advice on this issue and cant seen to find any advice.
I believe I have a starview 4 (The Box Super USB) and for some reason (as of yesterday) none of the my channels are working under the pre selected lists. eg if I select press ok on the remote - i get to scroll various pre-selected lists - if i select - Movies , select S*y Com*dy nothing works - same applies to scrolling to S*y Sp*rts and then selecting S*y Sp*rts One. Nothing just seems to appear.
If I go to 'All Channels' though (big list of all channels in no particular list) it contains multiple versions of S*y Sp*rts, BBC 1, S*y M*ovies, etc....so i would have say for example '5' BBC1 channels
but only 1 would work. This is the same across all channels.
For some reason the pre selected fav lists - Sports, Movies, Entertainment have selected all the wrong channels that dont work instead of the actual channels that are working.
Can anyone help.

1 press menu enter you 0000 code 2 turn your emu it must be turned off

Hi,
I tried as suggested.
I press 'menu'on my remote, hit '0000' on the remote but nothing happens.
Have I got the instructions wrong.
Thanks and will try again once you have replied.

Hi
i have also tried - menu - 1570 - and the keycode is 'on' and still the channels dont seem to appear in the category once selected.
They only seem to work when i access the channels via ' all channels'

maybe start from scratch,factory reset 0000 to delete,auto scan your provider and keycode enable and exit out.
frequency changes and provider problems are happening a lot.

hi,
please follow the instructions above. default back to factory settings, scan again, and enter key code. and you will find that it sorts the issues out.
After i completed the above. i noticed that my s*y sp0rts 1 doesn't appear. ive tried the re-scan again etc but still not working. anyone with any helpful tips?
ive also lost es*n and various other key channels...like i say, the re-scan, factory settings etc doesn't work
any help would be appreciated

and you will continue to loose them, Nagra 3 implementation is in full swing in the UK, they will be moving chans and freqs from here on in, Mark Easter timeframe in your calendor

Go to your sports category, Channel edit, enter your password, Delete the FX channel thats in place of sky Sports 1 and once you delete it, SP1 will replace it. (im assuming you have FX in place of skysports1)

currently the sky sports channel is blank and so is ESPN and various other channels

have you got a splitter on the line? if so, remove it and connect the box directly to the feed coming in, reset and rescan.
Which area u in?

yeah I was guessing that. lets hope the Mrs loses all her fav channels first and all that remains are sports channels...ha ha ha..evil laugh!!
Lets hope something happens and something is fixed!!! otherwise Sky are going to have a big increase in sales come Easter!

A week before I got my card I was sent an upgrade offer from v*rgin via a mailshot. I just spoke to my oldman in North london who recently received the same mailshot. Might be an indication of a card being sent out soon after? Any more info I'll let post as know users in n/s/e/w london

if I were you I would looking at alternatives such as a Sat dish and dreambox, cause N3 hasnt nor wont be cracked, so I would be looking at alternatives now, rathur than wait for blank chans, there is a load of threads and info on Sat and CS

Hi fellas have noticed these probs on my 4box also when going on EPG it freezes and have to reboot but when I switch off it blows the fuse in the plug when power up again am in SW -Devon

factory reset 0000, menu 1507, rescan brought back Sky Sports 1 and 3 back for me and a few other channels.
