Repair Faulty Arnet Kryptview Box

My friends block of flats was struck by lightening, and since then he had hardly any volume from his Arnet Kryptview Cable Box, and if he turned it up full it started to hum.
I swapped his box with mine to eliminate the fault which proved to be the cable box, I then did a factory reset and re-flashed the box, but now I have lost everything, picture & all sound, so I cannot even get the menu up to do a search.
Can anybody recommend somebody in South East London who can repair a faulty Arnet Kryptview Box cheaply? or should I advise him to scrap it and buy another?

i would think problem is on main board which i believe cannot be repaired and maybe quicker getting another box.
i wonder how many other people do not have any protection on there electronics like surge and spikes.lightning strikes are getting more common.also have your coaxial protected aswell.
