Best VPN is SUPERVPN
The answer has been kindly suggest to me its
www.supervpn.net
This a great service that allows you to hide your IP address, and In my case access other countries players, like for me the Iirish channel RTE.
It works with iPhone, blackberry,Mac and PC
It gives total encryption
It offers a great service and a good price
It covers many countries
USA, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Holland, Russia, Poland, Switzerland, UK, Spain, Hong kong, Italy, Norway, Ireland, Israel, Austria, Belgium, Iceland, Turkey, Iceland, Chille, Den,ark, Cezh
With a Macbook Pro it is easy to instal using the included software, network settings.
Make sure you check out there prices
http://www.supervpn.net/prices.html
And then you can relax and enjoy the fact your Ip address is hidden
Or in my case watch my favourite Tv programe in the UK using RTE player

Just go here: www.hidemyass.com/proxy-list/search-225516
and select Ireland from the list on the left and click 'update results'. There are 2 free Irish proxy servers showing up at the moment.

Just tested the HTTPS proxy server listed on that site within Opera with Turbo on for RTE Live Player and it worked perfectly Mickah (I am in UK at the moment). Used to use proxy servers quite a bit a couple of years ago and never had a problem before. Haven't tested it on IE or Firefox to be honest as you say you tried and it didn't work. So maybe when Opera is using it's own built in proxy when you turn the turbo on within settings (very handy for using the blocked sites such as KAT, h33t and tpb by the way!) and then also using the proxy servers listed on hidemyass in Opera it does something the others can't or don't??! Try that and let me know how you get on mate!
