Not sure if this is the correct category, but here it is. My parents are moving to Kentucky in July and will be there for about 4 years. My dad is a huge Fan of our local sports teams and I was wondering what the best option is to ensure he can watch all the locals sports games (here in the D.C. area) from Kentucky.

Would me having a sling box and my father having a sling catcher be the best option? Its about $500. Are there other options out there that are good and maybe less expensive? Ideally I would like to have a cable box at my house that he could control remotely and I wouldn't have to do anything (like change the channels and stuff). Also, I would prefer the streamed video goes to his tv rather than a computer, but I am open to all ideas.
