Hi Guys, I have the above box and all was fine until I left Scotland to return home to Belfast. Just got new house and when I set the box up there are very few channels. I did an auto scan but made no difference. Can anyone help please.

did you select the correct provider? Did you factory reset the box firstly? factory reset the box, and install the chans by selecting your provider in belfast

Hi M8, cheers, done the factory reset and selected nthell as I take it they are the provider but not sure, didn't fix the prob.

try the others and see if they work, factory reset and try each one, remove any splitters you may be using also, can weaken the signal

try keep to one thread,
When you plug the box in are you getting a signal level at all on the box? Are you sure that you have a live feed coming in?

Soz m8 been away a couple of days, if the green bar at bottom right is the signal strength it is about 2mm from top, there is a live feed.

Did you go into the secret menu (1570) and turn on the key. it looks like thats all that you are missing.

press menu. then press 1570. this should bring you to a secret menu. press set default key and then key code on then exit. this should sort you out.

did you put it on a usb stick and put it in the back of the starview.then follow the guide in the link. it should work no problem

yeah i know what to do , have a starview 3, havent got my box yet was just looking for the firmware so i had it already..lol just wasnt sure what version was the right 1
