Hi there im just wondering has anyone box came back on from invalid box once it went dead?

you need to con tact your ssupplier if its new, cause if your in Ireland and even if the box could be JTAG'd, you still cant use it as you have no firmware to load

I have sent an email and still no reply it was Sat and Cable i got it from now ive been hearing they are giving out clone boxes,Ive also seen have the light on the s/pdif which i dont so that probably mean thats what they gave me.

if its a clone box and your in Ireland, you cant use it anyways as the firmware will brick it again,

hi i done a factory reset on my starview 4 box after i kept getting {invalid box} comming up on screen.
the box died and the only light comming on is a s/pdf light at the back
i dont think its a clone as the site i bought from claims to be clone free
any help would be very welcome...

This has already been posted.
There is no fix and suppliers probably wont take it back either cause version 1.12 was relaeased last week to prevent this happening.

i had the same happen to me sent it back and got a different one it will depend where you got it from some sites wont change them

You cant fix a clone, apart from jtag . But then your back to square 1 when or, if you load software on to it.
I suggest you buy off a proper supplier......

you can get it j.taged to fix but then you will have to sell it to some1 in nth ireland or uk
