I can confirm that V1.12 is working is north Dublin.
It seems to be pretty much the same except now you can schedule recordings

Are you on N*L? To the best of mu knowledge ALL boxs other than CHOR*S fed are gone. I lost All Premium channels, i.e. sky movies, sports and disney. I flashed with V12 and it made no decernable difference. Did you regain lost channels? Maybe I did somthing wrong?

Sorry I should have been clearer. The firmware works just like the the previous BETA version. No movies, sports etc. and there won't be for a some time. I'm just happy they have left all the other channels for the moment

anybody notice the ppv channel from the list of channels cant find it anywhere it used to be in with the specials but its not there now anybody else have this problem or is it just me

people people people listen nthell canot not go on to n3 until next march to to november next year as the haveto sort their broadband and phone service ou first when nthell went onto n2 it cause alt of trouble with their customers as they couldnt have a srvice if people flash ther boxes with firmware v1.12 they can get most of the channels i myself have all148 channels up in tallaght tee will be a fix but peope need to be patient if any1 nees suppor contact me on thi site and ill so all my bes to help them one more thing nthell want to roll out n3 but when you look at it i have boxes working in the chorus areas in irelnd and i have boxes woking in glasgow manchester londan cardiff bristol and not a problem so the answeto all your ?s is nthell have not and will not be changing to n3 until further testing is do and it wont be for a good while

How do you still have all the channels? Are you on chourus or nthll? Im in the dublin area and have lost all sports and movies?

Yes, I also have most channels bar movies and sport. It does not make sense that they have moved to N3 with most other channels coming in.

They are moving the channels gradually, same way as they did n2. If you remember when n2 started they moved the adult channels first, then sport then movies, over the space of a few weeks.
This time because they haven't had to send out new cards, they moved all the premium channels in the space of a few hours. Expect the other ones to go fairly soon.

I don't know who posted that but some people have a vested interest in selling the boxes so don't want to admit that n3 is here.
I'm sorry if you just bought a box, i would advise you to put it up for sale in the 'sell your stuff section' they are still working in the uk, i believe postage is around 11 euro. Alternatively you could hang onto it and wait for a fix to come out, but realistically you are probably talking at least christmas, and probably a lot longer if ever :(
Chorus have had their cards sent out so will probably be changing straight to n3 from n1 within the next few weeks.

I didn't say it would be fixed by christmas, if you reread the post i said at least christmas and probably a lot longer if ever. Christmas is a very optimistic viewpoint.
Nothing is ever unhackable, just because it hasn't been done before doesn't mean it will never happen. I'm sure it will be hacked at some stage, it just might be in five or ten years time!

I doubt they would get a fix for this easily and if they did they would probably bring out a new box to fork out for, fcuk that, ya pay for what ya get !
Was great while it lasted from getting the first big ntl box done with the card to getting Starviews etc.
Gonna go legit now and send my box over to brother in England and hopefully he will get some use out of it.
